About Katy
Katy is a Life and Identity Coach with a deep connection to the wild. She supports women who are seeking greater clarity in their lives, navigating life transitions, considering changes in their career or work, encountering burnout, or experiencing or wanting change in their relationships. She also works with women who are looking for a place to discover and inhabit authenticity, and those wishing to (re)find their wild selves.
Before coaching, Katy spent twenty years working as a person-centred psychotherapist, and she is now an EMCC Accredited Coach. In recent years, she has spent much of her time outside with clients in the natural world, with the more-than-human as her co-therapist.
What You Can Expect
Katy offers whole being coaching, where body, emotion, thought and soul are all welcome. Her approach is person centred, which means she won’t direct, but will instead gently facilitate. She helps to fan the embers of your knowing into a flame that can illuminate and guide you, offering back what she sees and hears so that together you can weave the threads of what you discover into coherence.
Katy works both relationally and at depth. Your relationship with her becomes the means by which you unpick your unique challenges, and she is interested in the whole of you: in what lies at the surface and in what lies within.
Coaching Approach
Katy’s role as a coach is to help you (re)find your whole, to support and be curious, to accompany and to champion.
Your coaching goal acts as a compass to guide you both as you travel. Katy will gently keep you on course, creating space for you to encounter what needs to be known. Together you will get clear about how each new piece of knowing can be supported and integrated into your life. In between sessions, this might look like practical action, or a calling for a creative, reflective or somatic process may emerge instead.
