About Roxy

Roxy is a qualified integrative humanistic counsellor. She supports neurodivergent women, non-binary, and fem-identifying adults across the UK through online counselling, specialising in burnout, masking, anxiety, low mood, and life transitions. Neurodiversity-affirming to her core, she works with clients who are diagnosed, self-identified, or simply beginning to wonder whether their brain works differently — and she treats every neurotype as a natural variation rather than a problem to fix. Her approach is warm, collaborative, and strengths-based, and her online practice offers a pressure-free space where you can be exactly as you are. As a BACP-registered therapist, she anchors her work in strong ethics and genuine human connection. If you'd like to explore whether you're a good fit, she offers a free 20-minute introductory call.

What You Can Expect

A warm, confidential, online space where you can arrive exactly as you are, no neat explanations required. You can stim, look away, doodle, sit on the floor, or take your time finding words; the space flexes around you, not the other way round. Expect a gentle, collaborative rhythm. Roxy will ask questions, but won't interrogate. She will notice patterns with you — the people-pleasing, the masking, the exhaustion — without ever turning them into character flaws. Together you might talk about your environment, your relationships, your nervous system, and what's actually sustainable for your life. Roxy is transparent about the process, too: no mystery, no jargon, no clinical distance. You'll leave each 50-minute session with space to breathe — and often with small, personalised self-care ideas that fit your actual life, not a Pinterest board. If you're diagnosed, self-identified, or just starting to wonder, you're welcome here. Most clients meet with Roxy weekly, and together yougo at a pace that feels manageable for you. It's your hour — properly, truly yours.

Coaching Approach

At the heart of Roxy's work is a simple belief: the relationship is the therapy. As an integrative humanistic counsellor, she's not a detached expert sitting back in silence analysing clients from a distance — she's a real person walking alongside them, pulling from different approaches to fit each individual, never the other way round.

Roxy is neurodiversity-affirming to her core. She sees autism, ADHD, and other neurotypes as natural variations of being human, not problems to fix. Her approach carries zero pressure to perform, mask, or become more "neurotypical." Her focus isn't on correcting how a client's brain works — it's on helping them understand their lived experience, untangle the shame, and find what genuinely supports their wellbeing.

In practice, her sessions are gentle, slow, and spacious. There's no requirement to arrive with a neat explanation or a list of symptoms. Roxy works at each client's pace and in their communication style, with complete transparency about how the process works — no mystery, no "shoulds," and no clinical distance.
